We are a friendly bunch linked by our common interest in orchids, and have a good social atmosphere. Members’ collections vary from a few orchids on the back veranda to highly advanced and technical collections. We have a strong focus on cool growing orchids suited to our area and native orchid conservation, while some members are into more exotic varieties. We learn a lot about orchids from each other and from related activities. We meet most months on the 3rd Tuesday, often
with guest speakers and sellers. We always have plant displays and cultivation discussions. Anyone with an interest in orchids is welcome to our meetings, whether to just have a look or to consider joining. The meetings are held at the CWA Rooms in Kepler Street at 7.30pm. They include gold coin raffles, supper and a chat. Watch out for our October shows in Warrnambool and Portland.
