The Port Fairy Petanque Club meets each Sunday from 2pm-4pm for a friendly social game at our piste at Bowls Court, Port Fairy. We welcome new players who will be teamed up with our regular players to learn the game. Petanque is fun to play, and is simple for all ages. Boules are the only equipment required, and are available at the piste. The first three weeks are free. Thereafter we charge $2 per person to play on a weekly basis or you can join the club for $30 per year per person. No particular fitness level or athletic ability is required to play and enjoy petanque. A set of boules may be purchased from specialist sports retailers for around $70. We are not affiliated with any professional or competitive Petanque groups- our aim is to have fun and enjoy the afternoon of play.
