"Kids need Kiwanis". Our service club raises and spends money locally to help kids and families in need. We do this through bbqs, Bunnings bbqs, film nights, cabarets etc. It is also a very social club and we sometimes go on camping trips or take part in varied social activities. Families in need might request help for fuel or accommodation while their children receive treatment in Melbourne or for school expenses or specific needs. We annually support the Clontarf Academy, the I CAN Program, and the Cancer Centre through the distribution of Peter's Project collection cans. Globally we have worked with Kiwanis Internationl and UNICEF to eliminate iodine deficiency disorders and we are now working to help eliminate maternal/ neonatal tetanus. YOU CAN HELP US MAKE A DIFFERENCE. New members always welcome Our business meeting is the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7pm and our social meeting the 4th Tuesday of the month at the Flying Horse Inn
