The L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program is a state wide initiative managed by VicRoads and funded by the TAC. It aims to assist young learner drivers who do not have access to either a vehicle or supervising driver to achieve the compulsory 120 hours of driving practice that is now required before learner drivers are able to obtain a probationary licence. Volunteer mentor drivers support the young learners. A professional driving instructor is also used for pre, mid and end program drives.
