The South West Games has been an annual multisport event across the South West of Victoria since 1983, rotating around the Corangamite Glenelg, Moyne and Southern Grampians Shires and the City of Warrnambool. In three decades, the Games have encouraged a sense of regional pride, providing opportunities for geographically isolated communities, increasing active participation and diverse inclusion opportunities in sports environments that contribute to community health. The South West Games has an average of 50 sports events across the city host and closer districts.
