What is PROBUS: Probus is an Association for active members of the community and for those no longer working full time to join together in clubs for a new lease of life. Its basic purpose is to advance intellectual and cultural interests among adult persons; to provide regular opportunities to progress healthy minds and active bodies, through social interaction and activities, expand interests and to enjoy the fellowship of new friends. Warrnambool Men's Probus Club meets on the second Thursday of each month commencing at 10.00am and closing no later than 12.00 noon. The meetings are constructed around a short business period, morning tea and friendship time followed by a guest speaker. Our guest speakers come from a variety of interesting backgrounds. A variety of activities happen throughout the year including interclub bowls (in season), trips and outings, BBQs as well as enjoying fellowship with each other.
