MacKillop Family Services promote the rights of all children to be free to enjoy their childhood in a safe and loving home, where they are nurtured and have a sense of belonging and cultural identity. All our work is focused on empowering children, young people and families so they can heal from past trauma and develop to their potential. We are in need of foster carers in the South-West for either emergency, respite, short-term or long-term care. There is no 'blueprint' profile of our carers. We would love to hear from you regardless of your age, culture, gender, gender/sexual identity, family structure, living arrangement or occupation. All you need is a spare room in your home and the motivation to provide care for a young person who needs a stable home environment until it is safe for them to return to their family.
