King's College

King's College has Kinder to Yr12 all on one Campus. Along with a diverse academic program, King's is active in the community and supports initiatives such as the Red Cross, Relay for Life and Operation Christmas Child. Our Early Years centre is a caring environment for our Kinder and Preschool students and provides a great start for each child's educational journey. Our Junior Years embraces students in Prep to Year 4 and includes foundations in reading, writing and maths. We love to explore art, PE, information technology, french and music. To help support the changes of early adolescents, King's has a dedicated Middle Years program for Year 5-8. Students expand on the core academic program with semester based design technology subjects. With entry into the Eisteddfod, students extend their public speaking skills and our annual College musical productions and Art Exhibition bring the world of performing arts into our students scope. Our unique Yr9 Connect Program is a bridge for our students to explore a diverse range of skills and personal challenges. With a community focus students participate in a Trek, explore issues such as homelessness, are part of a mentoring program and explore key areas of potential career interests via our options program. At a critical time where young people can feel disengaged with school, the Connect program inspires, encourages and embraces the individuality of our students. VCE at King's has unrivalled teacher to student ratios. Students are supported in their endeavours and begin VCE subjects from Yr10. Students are able to develop a VCE pathway that ensures they can go on successfully in their chosen career after graduating.
