Glenelg River District Scouts

Overview

The Glenelg River Scout District look after all the groups in the district, covering Casterton, Cavendish, Coleraine, Hamilton, and Portland.

We provide activities which will guide young people from the age of 5 - 26 with life time skills in a number of activities including outdoor education, camping hiking etc.

We are always looking for volunteers who needn't be leaders - although we are always looking for leaders, but can be in the background supporting the leaders and youth members in a number of different ways.

Major Events

Kangaree - for 5-8 year old Joey Scouts every two years Cuboree for 8-11 year old Cub Scouts every three years Jamboree for 11 -14 year old Scouts every three years Anything Goes for 14-17 year old Venturer Scouts every three years

Clean Up, Communications &/or Social Media, Environment - Revegetation, Weed Control etc
