Warrnambool Multicultural Association organizes the annual Multicultural Festival, aiming to promote cultural diversity in the community.
We are also open to conducting other programs or events that advance multiculturalism and enhance the well-being of migrants and refugees in Warrnambool and the surrounding regions.
The Warrnambool Multicultural Festival was initiated in 2022 to recognize a diverse background population. The event aims to be a celebration of the diversity of the region where we all live, work or study and connect with people from all over the world. It also fosters social sustainability in the community and hopes people who settle here feel a sense of belonging. Each year, more than 4,000 people enjoy the cultural performances, international foods, cultural engagement activities and settlement information on the day. The Festival was named 2022-2023 Community Event of the Year.
