Moyne Health Services

Overview

Volunteers are an essential part of the care team at Moyne Health Services. MHS is able to offer an extensive range of services due to the dedication of our 150+ volunteers.
Volunteers can choose to work within a particular program to provide support within a group setting or for individual activities. Volunteers have many different skills, and they assist staff to improve the quality of life for our residents and clients from a wide range of services, such as:
• Community Social Support Groups
• Meals on Wheels
• Residential Aged Care – Moyneyana House & Belfast House
• Resident Transport
• Community Access
• Administration
We provide Volunteers with a supportive work environment, work trials, buddy shifts, orientation and training, ongoing supervision and social opportunities. Volunteers are required to complete our registration and police check process, and must have current covid and ‘flu vaccination status.
Moyne Health Services are very grateful for the wonderful contributions of our volunteers, and if you would like to join our great volunteer team, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator for more information.
