South West Community Foundation

Overview

The South West Community Foundation is a philanthropic trust created by the people of South West Victoria, for the people of South West Victoria. Our vision is Stronger Communities

Established in 2007, our Mission is to “To foster a culture of giving to strengthen the communities of South West Victoria”.

Our Region: Colac-Otway; Corangamite; Glenelg; Moyne; Southern Grampians and Warrnambool.

Our Value: " A permanent fund, built and operated by our community, working to support and strengthen our region."

We provide small but vital grants to community organisations across the south west regions..


South West Community Foundation’s funds are held in perpetuity, which means the corpus funds continue to grow and the interest earned from their investment is used in the granting process. In the first seven years of operation, the Foundation grew a corpus of $2.1 million.

We have funded over $1million to community groups across the south west since inception in 2007.
