Warrnambool Coastcare Landcare Network

Overview

WCLN supports a number of Warrnambool and district volunteer groups to improve biodiversity in our area. We have many volunteer opportunities including in our world famous Middle Island penguin monitoring program, tree planting projects and community education activities. We involve a wide range of people, young and old, men and women, including many Deakin students. We support Merri Wetlands Protection Group, Making A Difference (MAD) for the Merri, Friends of Victoria Park, Friends of Platypus Park and Friends of Merri Marine Sanctuary.

We have strong working relationships with DELWP, Deakin University, Warrnambool City Council, Parks Vic, and other community groups.
