The group is a member of Southwest Environment Alliance (SEA).
Each year the group take on 2 or 3 Landcare projects. Tarragal has planted over 10,000 trees on farms in the Cashmore/Bridgewater/Gorae West area over the last 10 years.
Tarragal Landcare group (TLC) support property owners by sourcing funds that assist people with tree planting, fencing remnant vegetation, constructing nest boxes, eradicating weeds, surveying habitat and restoring wetlands.
TLC runs regular working-bees on Saturday mornings to manage weeds in our area. This includes managing weeds on a four hectare public bush reserve.
TLC welcomes new members. Contact our secretary, Janet, for more information.
AGM: October June - August are out tree-planting months. This year we will be planting over 1000 trees to form new shelter-belts on a farm in the Cashmore area. We are calling on volunteers to help us achieve this goal. Contact Janet for further info.
