Overview

The role of The Showgrounds Committee of Management is to ‘manage, improve, maintain and control’ an allocated Crown land reserve for the purposes for which it is reserved under the Crown Land (Reserves) Act 1978. The committee is accountable for its actions and decisions to the Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water.

We are home to several user groups and business's including Warrnambool Agricultural Society (Warrnambool Show) Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club, Dennington Pony Club, Warrnambool Adult Riders Club, Warrnambool Poultry Club, Merrivale Football Netball Club Sunday Markets, Springers Gymnastics Centre, Warrnambool Caravan Repairs and Weerite Flowers Fresh Flower Market.

expressions of interest from other user groups is welcome and the grounds can be hired for various events and functions.
