A fun, social environment that invites and encourages everyone of all skill levels and age to come along every week for a hit of the yellow fuzzy aka tennis ball.
We have ladies that meet on a Tuesday morning and a group of mixed adults that gather on Tuesday and Thursday nights as well as family groups on Saturday afternoons. Our Saturday tennis is also accompanied by a brief afternoon tea to really emphasise the social aspect of tennis.
Costs are very minimal with family membership costing $60 annually and individuals at $30 annually. There is also $15 annual fee for individual students. This grants access to the club house (tea, coffee and milk provided), courts, nets, tennis balls and water pump for use during the summer months. There is a small additional fee of $2 on the Tuesday and Thursday organised sessions of tennis and $4 on Saturdays. This covers the costs of new tennis balls, coffee and tea.
We recently added lights to our centre court and we'll be seeking grants to assist in the costs of additional lighting for our other courts. This will permit members to play longer in the winter months.
We're always looking for new people to join us and become members. The club recently celebrated its centenary and we look forward to another centenary with more members to make this a reality.
