Warrnambool Family History Group Inc

Overview

Our major purpose is to record and research the history of people and families associated with the Western District.
Our resources are extensive - print & electronic - and are stored in the library at HeritageWorks, the facility we share with Warrnambool & District Historical Society Inc, at 2 Gilles Street, Warrnambool (behind Mozart Hall).
We deal with a constant flow of requests for information from people all over Australia and not infrequently from other countries.
Our research facility is open each Tuesday to Friday, staffed by volunteers who have extensive knowledge of resources and research, who are very willing to assist and/or train others.
Members are welcome to join ($35 per year). There are volunteering opportunities for short term projects and for ongoing involvement.
