Overview

Heywood SES Unit is here to provide the community assistance in times of emergency. We are all volunteers willing to learn new skills and donate our time for our community. New volunteers are always welcome to join our team.

Skills and Resources

Clean Up, First Aid (accredited), Governance &/or Administration

Storm damage mitigation (trees down, roofs off/damaged, etc), road rescue, search and rescue

Equipment

Clean Up / Reconstruction Equipment (eg ropes, ladders, ramps, power tools, tarpaulins), Communication Equipment, Generator/s, Portable Lighting, Protective Clothing
