We offer obedience training classes to the public in six blocks of 4 weeks during the year. Classes are provided for Puppies and Beginners through to Advanced Work and Trial standard.
We also offer agility and jumping training classes to the public with 2 in-takes during the year. Classes are provided for Beginners (Foundation class) through to Advanced Work and Trial standard.
Club Motto - Happiness is an obedient dog.
Club Aim - To train handlers to train their dog.
For the training classes, the handlers must be over the age of 14, and dogs be at least 6 months of age.
We offer Club membership to handlers keen to continue ongoing training with their dogs. With membership comes the expectation to be involved at the Club by regularly attending bi-monthly general meetings, assisting with the public training classes, and assisting at our 3 Trials. As in most Clubs, there are Committee positions and various roles within the Club that members can pursue.
We hold 3 Trials during the year which attract competitors from the Warrnambool and Western District region, Victoria-wide, and interstate.
March long weekend 2-day Trial - we hold our Obedience and Agility Trials. Late June or early July - Obedience and RallyO Trial (one day). November (Melb Cup weekend) 2-day Trial - we hold our Agility and Jumping Trials.
