Today Kurri Kurri Co-Op has a membership of 124 shareholders and has been successfully maintained for over 30 years. To survive well into the future though, it is essential that we find new young passionate members to carry on the vision that was begun all those years ago. Members meet on site a number of times a year to carry out essential works and for social purposes. We are registered under the co-operatives act and our books are audited each year.
New members are required to purchase 250 - $1.00 shares and pay an annual levy, currently $20 per year which covers administrative expenses.
Annual General Meeting held every May followed by social gathering/BBQ on site the following day. Regular working bees held as required.
