the Lyndoch Auxiliary has been operating since 1954 to support, advise and help the staff of Lyndoch Living to enhance the lives of the residents. The role of the Lyndoch Auxiliary is to:
* provide the community a link to Lyndoch Living through volunteer activities
* support the residents of Lyndoch Living and assist the staff with the social life of the residents
* uphold the ethos of the Lyndoch Way. We recognise each person for the individual they are, we will strive to provide them with the specific services, care and support they need to enjoy a lifestyle that is their own – dignified, engaging, fulfilling and rewarding
* visit residents
* organise and participate in entertainment for the residents
* fundraising to benefit the residents of Lyndoch Living
* support for families and friends of residents
* support the staff of Lyndoch Living in caring for the residents.
Membership of the Auxiliary is open to all men and women (over 18 years) of the community. Volunteer orientation is provided by Lyndoch Living for all new members.
1. Annual Raffle (drawn at Christmas). 2. Various fundraising activities throughout the year including fetes, movie matinees, fashion parade. 3. Resident's Christmas lunch.
