The purpose of the Bahgallah Memorial Hall Committee is to provide the community of Bahgallah with a facility and associated amenities to support social, recreational and emergency activities for residents and members of the wider district.
The facility is available for hire for dances, parties, burials, wakes, indoor bowls, CFA training days, fundraisers and any other social or recreational activity authorised by the committee. Amenities include catering equipment & furniture, TV and Music systems.
The committee also organises various social and /or fundraising activities of its own accord from time to time.
The committee comprises local community representatives as well as associates from the wider community of Casterton.
A Social Club subcommittee has recently disbanded due to lack of support. This club provided monthly dances and other social interaction (including a Kelpie Dance in support of Casterton's Kelpie Festival). There is scope for these social activities to revive should there be sufficient interest by the wider community in seeing a revival. If interested, we would love to hear from you.
