Our school has a principal, 10 teachers and 7 support staff implementing rigorous teaching and learning strategies to enable all students to attain strong literacy and numeracy skills. Together they operate 7 classrooms and also provide specialist teaching in Physical Education, Music, and Art. Our strong music, performing arts, and sporting programs have gained many awards in these areas. In 2016 we anticipate reintroducing Indonesian enabling continuity of the LOTE from primary to secondary school. We also have a full time Business Manager.

Our local Koorie community is an important aspect of our school and we have close links with the Windamara Aboriginal Corporation. Koorie students comprise about 18 % of our total enrolment. We embrace the strategies outlined in the Wannik Report, working with our Koorie Education Support Officer in partnership to strengthen educational opportunities for our young Koorie students.
