Anglicare Victoria is an agency providing emergency food and material relief to the local community, as well as community development project management in the South West region of Victoria.
Located at 230 Koroit Street, Warrnambool, Anglicare Victoria runs an Emergency Relief Centre and Drop In Centre. Both centres operate from Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 12:00pm (excluding public holidays) and are walk in services for those needing financial or emotional support which includes food hampers, prescription vouchers, knitted winter apparel, blankets and, in limited circumstances, fuel vouchers.
Also operating from the above address are the Brick Club and Get Our for Good Programs.
Brick Club is a play-based program using Lego and aims to facilitate learning and engagement through the art of play. Available for schools, social clubs, aged and disability groups in the Warrnambool and Corangamite areas, Brick Club sessions can be booked by contacting the Community Development Co-ordinator.
The Get Out for Good program is a post-prison release program providing social, community and emotional support to participants adjusting to life outside of prison and aims to assist participants to develop the skills and connections to remain out of prison for good. Agency and self-referrals welcome.
All our programs are operated by our wonderfully kind and caring volunteers and are overseen by the Community Development Co-ordinator and Community & Homeless Support Worker.
