LAN Of The Damned

Overview

My partners and I are the organisers of LAN events focused on computer multiplayer gaming. Our LANs are a not-for-profit event held in Warrnambool twice a year. These events attract people from a wide variety of backgrounds and age groups. Our LANs offer enjoyable weekend entertainment for local youth, or even adults who are young at heart. One thing that is common to all our attendees is a keen interest in computers, gaming and case modification.

At each event we run a minimum of three tournaments with medals/trophies for the winners and prizes provided by sponsors. We also distribute prizes via a raffle (for which each attendee receives a free ticket on entry) and have random giveaways throughout the event. Aside from competitions we also run dedicated game servers for the duration of the event and have guitar hero setup on a large projector screen.
