The Casterton Kelpie Association hosts the Clark Rubber Australian Kelpie Muster every Queen's Birthday weekend in Casterton, Victoria.
The Muster consists of the Festival on Saturday where family fun free entertainment is provided with a range of kelpie events and activities for everyone to participate and enjoy. Our visitors come from overseas and throughout Australia.
On the Sunday - we have Australia's premier Working Dog Auction at Island Park, Casterton where Australia's best working dogs showcase their talents and are auctioned in the afternoon. Buyers and vendors come from all over Australia and the highest pricest are achieved.
The Casterton Kelpie Association have been hosting the Muster for the past 19 years and in 2016 we will celebrate our 20th Anniversary. Casterton is the birthplace of the Kelpie and is part of the promotion of our region.
We have over 300 volunteers who assist during the year and over the weekend to help bring the Muster to you.
Clark Rubber Australian Kelpie Muster will be held on the 11th and 12th June 2016 - Queen's Birthday weekend in Casterton Victoria hosted by the Casterton Kelpie Association.
